How does BangBang compare with a staffing agency?

With BangBang you pay the worker's agreed hourly rate directly by PayNow, plus a flat $2 per worked hour after the pilot. Agencies typically add a markup on top of the worker's rate, but markups vary by agency, so get a quote.

Illustrative example only, not a measured or quoted figure. Assume two workers for a 6-hour weekend shift (12 worked hours) at a worker rate of $12 per hour, and an assumed agency markup of 35% on that rate. These inputs are made up to show the arithmetic; replace them with your own quotes.
Staffing agency (assumed 35% markup)BangBang, after pilotBangBang, during pilot
Worker wages (12 h × $12)$144.00$144.00$144.00
Intermediary charge$50.40 (assumed)$24.00 (12 h × $2)$0.00
Total$194.40$168.00$144.00

Illustrative example. The agency markup is an assumption, not data about any specific agency. Worker wages are set by you and the worker.

Is there anything else to pay?

You pay the worker directly by PayNow. BangBang does not add a markup to the worker's pay. Employment obligations are your responsibility; check with MOM and CPF Board for what applies.

What happens when the pilot ends?

Shifts that start after 28 Feb 2027 are charged $2 per worked hour, invoiced weekly. You'll see the fee in the app before you post.
